A remix is better today :P

Sometimes I think remixes of popular songs are crap, but this one is awesome. How did you make this song? Some parts sounded a little too buzzy for me, but is was a great song overall. Cheers.

Thanks. I agree. Remixes are kind of like movies. The sequels aren't usually as good as the original. But then out of nowhere you get this sequel that just pwns! LOL.

Thanks for your kind words. :P

'How did you make this song?'

LOL. Where to begin......I sampled the song in Sound Forge 8.0c...Sequenced in FL Studio 5...I EQed all the bass from the sampled track and turned up the mids so that when filtered in it would shriek from the speakers (filter destruction! ROFL). I messed with the drum samples until I got a 'big bass Electro' feel...You know...The HUGE kick that silences everything else temporarily and gives that fade-in effect on everything else. Then I just used some ideas I've been sitting on for a while. For example using the 'a' in 'crazy' as a build-up...Then getting the 'gated' effect on the voc when the beat kicks in.

Also I tried something new with the voc by turning it into a synth at about 1:45. I had to filter it out so that it didn't sound over-powering.

I was actually going to keep repeating the chorus over and over doing something different each time. But since I had put the frst verse in, it seemed natural to put the rest in aswell. A good choice there. LOL.

LOL. I don't know what you mean by that, but thanks for your review! Catch ya around. Maybe at my next big track. ROFL. Likely story....:P

Ciao.

Pretty good...

This song was MUCH better than your first song. Personally, I'm not a fan of the really high notes, and I would suggest not going that high. Just my opinion.

Why is this song under classical rock?! Please try to get songs in the proper genre better than that.

DP00 responds:

a song like this is classical rock (like example queen songs) anyway i need to get a new program so no more subbmissions from me until i got da new program! well overall 7 ! not bad at all thx !

I swear, you make me want to cry :)

Your songs have more emotion than mine, especially this one. This reminds me of something I would hear on a Legend of Zelda game while sailing/ at sea/ in some magical cavern. I SWEAR! ITS AWESOME! Damn, how do you make such long reviews? I ran out of things to say... This song is golden.

Karco responds:

I actually got my inspiration for this from a video game... not Zelda, actually. Ever heard of Metroid Prime?

Glad you like it so much - my long reviews and good songs (mind the ego, everyone) are all the product of a little thing I like to call practice. =P You'll get there someday if you keep trying. Go ahead and listen to my first song if you want... to be frank, it sucks - I've improved in these one and a half months. I still have a long, looooong way to go, actually. XD You just have to keep practicing and you'll get there someday.

And for reviews... if you can't think of any criticism then naturally they're going to be a heck of a lot shorter than if you can think of a truckload - nearly all of my reviews to you are 95% constructive criticism - my reviews are significantly shorter, most of the time, if I have no criticism to give. ;) Don't worry, if it's a review then I'm thankful. =)

Again, thanks for reviewing and glad you like it so much. =)

See those black records on my Audio Submissions? That means those don't need reviews, I've moved way past those in skill. Try and reivew the first two or three songs please ;D
